Kojima Sensei (1942) is a Japanese Buddhist Monk who for 35 years has dedicated and contributed significantly to initiating the preservation and research of The Kizil Grottoes, Niya and Dandanoilik ruins of Silk Road in China accomplishing World Heritage designation of The Kizil Grottoes in 2014. This book details his initial foresight in 1982, the difficulties and resolutions of cultures and institutions, the extensive research and preservation of these ruins and treasures and his continuing effort and numerous contributions setup for the future.

Kojima Sensei has an extraordinary mind and instinct and has achieved a very unique and respected objective. Congratulations!
