This one-of-a-kind artwork reinterprets the Aperol label as a spray can form. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are applied to a wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Aperol 2026 (UFO Drip) focuses on the bold contrast between the saturated red field and the structured label system. The diagonal band anchors the composition, while the central label introduces a layered hierarchy of typography and emblem. The vertical turquoise drip interrupts this order, cutting through the surface and shifting the balance between precision and spontaneity. The work treats the label as a graphic object, detached from its original function and recontextualised through scale and placement.
