This one-of-a-kind artwork re-imagines the Henri Jayer Vosne-Romanée Cros-Parantoux 1985 label as a spray can icon. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are layered onto a 40.5 × 28.6 in (72.8 × 103 × 3.3 cm) wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Henri Jayer 1985 (Blue Drip) translates the structure of the original Burgundy label onto the cylindrical form of a spray can, shifting it from traditional bottle branding into contemporary pop format. The deep green ground and restrained cream typography preserve the classical balance of the label, while the blue vertical drip introduces a deliberate gesture across the otherwise composed surface. The work focuses on proportion, hierarchy and historical identity, treating the label as a graphic system rather than a literal reference to the bottle itself.
La Pun’s work bridges pop art, street culture and global advertising and is collected by celebrities and luxury brands. Owning a unique original means there will never be another like it.
