This one-of-a-kind artwork re-imagines the Hibiki Blender’s Choice whisky bottle as a spray can icon. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are layered onto a wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Hibiki Blender’s Choice (Blue Drip) translates the refined structure of the bottle and label into a cylindrical, pop-format surface. The warm amber body is contrasted by the controlled blue vertical drip, cutting through the composition and disrupting its balance. The calligraphic mark and label elements are retained but flattened, shifting the focus from product to graphic language, texture and hierarchy.
La Pun’s work bridges pop art, street culture and global advertising and is collected by celebrities and luxury brands. Owning a unique original means there will never be another like it.
