Aerosol and silkscreen on canvas
28.6 × 40.5 in / 72.8 × 103 × 3.3 cm
Signed
This one-of-a-kind artwork presents a curated arrangement of iconic wine bottles in a layered pop composition. A unique original painting from Campbell La Pun’s ongoing exploration of iconic bottles through stencil and pop form. Silkscreen and aerosol paint are combined on canvas, allowing precision and variation to sit within the same surface. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Liquid Icons – Estate builds on the visual language of the series with a more structured and intentional grouping. Each bottle is selected and positioned to create a sense of balance between colour, form and recognition. Bright tonal shifts move across the composition, isolating certain bottles while allowing others to recede into monochrome. This creates a rhythm that mirrors how these works are experienced in real life, where certain bottles stand out in memory while others form part of a larger backdrop.
The work focuses on the idea of the “estate” not as a physical location, but as a collection of moments, references and shared histories. Through repetition and variation, the composition becomes a visual record of encounters rather than a static display of objects. The combination of silkscreen consistency and aerosol intervention introduces subtle imperfections, reinforcing the human element behind each layer.
Includes worldwide shipping.
