This one-of-a-kind artwork re-imagines the Louis Vuitton monogram as a spray can icon. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are layered onto a 40.5 × 28.6 in (72.8 × 103 × 3.3 cm) wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
LV Twist – DOTT (Blue Drip) translates the structure of the iconic monogram pattern onto the cylindrical form of a spray can, shifting it from luxury fashion surface into contemporary pop format. The saturated pink ground intensifies the tonal monogram field, while the mint “Louis Vuitton Paris” typography anchors the centre of the composition. The cool blue vertical drip runs cleanly through the surface, adding a deliberate gesture across the otherwise structured pattern. The work focuses on branding as colour, repetition and interruption rather than as a literal product reference.
