Montrachet Prism - Orbit

$5,500.00

Aerosol on Wood Panel
28.6 × 40.5 in / 72.8 × 103 × 3.3 cm
Signed

This one-of-a-kind artwork presents the Montrachet bottle in a refined, high-contrast pop format. A unique original painting from Campbell La Pun’s ongoing exploration of iconic bottles through stencil and pop form. Aerosol paint is layered onto canvas and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.

In Montrachet Prism – Orbit, the bottle is reduced to a clean, centred form set against a deep black ground. The composition is built through controlled colour separation rather than realism. A violet core sits within cool green edges, creating a subtle halo effect that gives the bottle a sense of internal light. The small radial motif at the centre acts as a quiet focal point, suggesting energy or rotation without overt movement.

The orange capsule introduces a sharp contrast at the top of the composition, anchoring the work while balancing the cooler tones below. The label remains precise and legible, reinforcing the structure of the piece, while the surrounding colour fields shift the bottle away from its original function into a more abstract, almost atmospheric presence. The work focuses on clarity, balance and the idea of the bottle as a contained system of colour, light and form rather than a literal object.

Includes worldwide shipping.
