This one-of-a-kind artwork re-imagines the Romanée-Conti wine label as a spray can icon. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are layered onto a 57.5 × 40.5 in (103 × 145.6 cm) wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
DRC 02833 translates the structure of the original Romanée-Conti label onto the cylindrical form of a spray can, shifting it from traditional bottle branding into contemporary pop format. The enlarged vertical composition reinforces scale and clarity, while the controlled paint drip introduces movement against the otherwise restrained surface. The work focuses on the label as a graphic system rather than a reference to the bottle itself.
