This one-of-a-kind artwork re-imagines the Veuve Clicquot label as a spray can icon. Hand-cut stencils and aerosol paint are layered onto a wood panel and sealed with a gloss varnish. The piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Veuve Black (Yellow Drip) compresses the familiar champagne label into a cylindrical form, shifting it from bottle to graphic object. The deep black ground frames the signature orange label, intensifying its presence while simplifying the overall structure. The vertical yellow drip cuts through the composition, introducing a single, controlled gesture that disrupts the otherwise precise layout. The work focuses on branding as colour, placement and repetition rather than as a literal product reference.
